Project based learning
I feel like I have not enough desire to write today cos after so long I have come to my hometown and I am really distracted from school stuffs. However PBL is that kind of topic that its not hard to say some words.I would like to call it ‘Learning by doing ‘instead of giving that long term.I don’t think it’s necessarily needed to provide you with what PBL consists on .What we need to learn is how to engage this approach with your students in the future.
There are five key buildings components to develop it.The first one is real world connection in which you can start by introducing your students to a real world problem that applies in the everyday life. And then after gathering all the answers you ask them to research their theories. This is the so-called Core learning where the meat of the materials needs to be presented.Structure collaboration is that part when students are divided into groups .This is why we say that PBL promotes team work.In this method the teacher becomes more a facilitator and provides students with necessary structure and guidelines to operate within. The students become the driving force behind the project, which means it’s in their control. While teacher is considered more a facilitator,it is still the teacher’s role to remain involved and to check in with the students to ensure projects are moving along successfully.
I will definetely recommend this method to be aplied in our future environments as teachers.
Interesting and necessary information for us as feature teachers . CONGRATS!
