Project based learning

I feel like I have not enough desire to write today cos  after so long I have come to my hometown and I am really distracted from school stuffs. However PBL is that kind of topic that its not hard to say some words.I would like to call it ‘Learning by doing ‘instead of giving that long term.I don’t think it’s necessarily needed to provide you with what PBL consists on .What we need to learn is how to engage this approach with your students in the future. There are five key buildings components to develop it.The first one is real world connection in which you can start by introducing your students to a real world problem that applies in the everyday life. And then after gathering all the answers you ask them to research their theories. This is the so-called Core learning where the meat of the materials needs to be presented.Structure collaboration is that part when students are divided into groups .This is why we say that PBL promotes team work.In this method the teacher becomes more...

Flipped-classroom

Hey guys! I have seen already some of your posts on blog list and i do agree with all advantages you have mentioned about flipped-classroom model. However,we all should  admit the fact that dealing with ‘online’ classes was a struggle to us.At fist there was a lot of buzz around what we were supposed to do ,how we were going to proceed with all this stuff and if this was going to have a positive effect because it was difficult to cope with internet access at our school. It turned out to be quite a challenging experience ,something that would even teach  us a lot. What I was curios about, was the  fact that how our teacher was going to understand if we were all online .Then I realized that there were orders we should follow and by this method the  teacher can check and quickly determine who understands the work, who’s struggling and who hasn’t watched the video we were introduced at the beginning of the course. There are a lot of complications dealing with flipped-classr...

Constructivism

There is an old saying in Albania ‘the first step  to learn from personal mistakes is to see them’.I am pretty sure that my friends will definitely asked themselves ‘What does she mean by that or how it is related with this topic?’. Everyone, at some point in their life has made a mistake. Sometimes we get lucky and only falter a little, making it through the problem relatively intact.Other times,we mess up a lot and have to fix what was damaged over a long period of time. However, the same is true for most,if not all cases that those who make the mistake learn from it.I have personally achieved a wealth knowledge from all of my own little mishaps.Wholeheartedly ,what helped me going through them was making a brown study of all those mistakes .Reflecting, analyzing, question ing, exploring comes right after every experience weather it’s a good or bad one. When I bumped into‘Constructivism’the example I provided earlier was the first thing that leaped to my mind.Since,it is related to...
